I am a story-driven visual artist whose work honors women’s stories across time, culture, and personal experience. Through portraiture, mixed media, and bold use of color, I explore identity, resilience, and the power of presence.
My collections span:
✨ Icons & Trailblazers — reimagining cultural figures and pioneering women through my own visual language.

✨ Portraits of Presence — capturing elevated, reflective moments that reveal the strength, beauty, and layered identities of women across cultures.

✨ Travel & Cultural Reflection — connecting people, place, and story through vibrant color, composition, and cultural narrative.
I also create ✨ Spoken Art — a modern take on spoken word and visual art, named after Spoken Art: Too Brave to Back Down, the book I co-created with my mom, Rita P. Mitchell. In these works, each painting is paired with one of my mother’s recorded poems; when you press a button, the art speaks. The result is an interactive experience where image and voice come together to tell the story.
At its core, my art is an invitation — to see, to hear, to feel, and to honor the beauty and strength in every story.
